Wonderful Trip to Japan

Hello!! How is everyone?!
This might be a long one.

I started this trip on July 7th, 2008. When we landed at Narita, Japan. I was soo excited and filled with excitement and over joyed. Our teacher, Tachibana sensei invited us to the wonderful adventure. Which I enjoyed very much. I am traveling along with three other girls and eight other boys. So far we shopped around a lot, went to lots of tourism places. I enjoyed staying with the girls in the hostel, host family homes, and hotel. Thanks for being there. I'll miss you all!!

The frist tourism attraction I went to was the Nara Park. Everyone enjoyed their time with friendlyt deers and flourishing greeneries. Then we rested in the hotel. I've always loved parks. Listening to the birds chirping and deers bugging you to feed them. Buy they are soo adorable. We got to pet them too. We also visited some temples. We also visited a Buddah temple. My teacher begged me to craw through the hole that's the same size as the Buddah statue's nose. But, I was feeling kinda afraid that I might get stuck. x.x I love listening to history stories but, there is soo much to remember. We also met some middle school students outside the main temple and talked to them. Even helped them with their assignment. They were trying to speak english, I hope their english improves soon. Gambatte to them!!

We went to Osaka as well, there, we got to eat a really delicious okonomiyaki!! ^_^; I love the waitor. He drew a cute lil picture on mine, and I almost cried because he's so kind. ^_^; Actually, I was moved because it was so cute. I wish I could stay at Osaka a lil longer. I couldn't even finish the okonomiyaki! I wanna learn how to make it some day.

Next attraction we went on was, the Iga Ueno Ninja City Tour. This is one of my favorite places so far. We got to watch a show and tour around the museum. They even showed us a ninja house. It was so amazing. I love the swining door to a secret room. That was fun.

Sensei's friend guided us to the Nishijun Fabric Shuutenkaku Museum. There, was the first floor for a kimono fashion show. Upstairs was a shopping area. They had a lot of old traditional stuff. Sooo beautiful. That's where I bought a few hankerchiefs. I also took pictures of the Kimono model girls.
They're all soo beautiful.

Next day, we went to Akita. Here, we spent a couple days with a host family. Their homes were very traiditional and made with lots of bamboo wood and etc. One night, we even played with small fireworks. They were sooo fun. I wish we can do that here. In Akita, we got to visit the samurai houses and even tried on kimonos. They were so heavy. XD but we got pictures. I can't wait to get them from my friends next next week. We even got to play ground golf. My friend got a hole in one. That was soo amazing. XD I wish we have that here. On the last night, we spent time at a sports club house, and we hand a party. But, before that, we went to watch and try out archery and girls tried on kimonos. I think we were gonna do flower arrangement but I guess we didn't have time. It was the most fun time I've ever had.

Next day, was a raining day. I thought we weren't gonna go anywhere. But, we recieved a message from sensei. We decided to go to the Osen. [aka hot springs] That was the BEST decision ever! Because up till this point, I was wonder when we were going to go. *excitement* We also ate lunch. That was delicious. The view from the osen was soooo amazing. I wish I can go again. When we're leaving Akita, our host family gave us some presents. They were so adorable. I wonder if I'll find a chance to use those book marks. The boys got a better present. hahah.

Now, we are leaving to Nikko. I'm soo excited.

After Nikko, we went to Tokyo. For a free day, we went to Akihabara!!! AHHHH!!! I shoulda changed all my cash. But I'll be super poor at the end. Just kidding!! There was a lot of stuff there, it was sooo amazing. I love it!! Really makes you feel like you dont wanna leave. It looked like a miniture New York!! There was soo much to take in. That was my most favorite place. I bought a couple souviners for my friends and family. I hope they like it! But, in Tokyo, the weather was soooo humid and hot!! And the hot sun was shining like crazy. Which made me sweat like crazy. But, I would love to go back some day. Even for a few days. I'll bring my friends there too!!

In Harajuku, we went around and looked at a couple stuffs. They had a stand that sold a buncha varieties of crepes!!! I was shocked but it looked delicious too!! The best part of Japan is their coffee!! SOO good!! One of my friends and I went to a super cute store called the Kitty Land. I swore I've been thre before. Anyway, it's a buncha fun, lots and lots of cute stuff. Even Miyazaki stuff too. They also have some expensive stuffs.

On that late afternoon, we walked a little furture and there were a buncha J Rocker bands there. My friends and I took a couple pictures too. *love* The Japanese guys are just SOO handsome. *hearts* As we walked along, we went to a shopping area and there is a J Rock cafe, and a manga/music/DVD/costume/ figure and etc. That's where I bought a few things here and there. I was gonna buy the school uniform from Bleach but It costed about $200 USD+ !! x.x That's a lot, so I didn't. We did find their cds rather inexpensive and aforadable. and their mangas too. But I've already have lots of mangas. I did buy one or two detective conan ones at some train stations. After that, we went up to the 6th floor and ate really relly good shabu shabu!! I just love how the boys ate so much. xD So amusing. Yes, I ate shabu shabu during summer! I still can't find other reasons besides it is delicious no matter what day/year/month!

It was also just about our last night together as a group, and that's when I was feeling all worn out and ready to head home. *laughs* I was enjoying my trip very much, and my friends as well.
Thank you everyone. I'll miss everyone !! Best Friends Forever!
