My laptop is doomed!!!
It won't boot up the normal windows.. D:

anyway, since im going to Japan this summer.
I went to Wells Fargo and singed up for an ATM card.
Then I can use in Japan. yaay! :D I can't wait to get it in
the mail.

Wow, i'm sorry to hear about your computer.. Our computer is in bad shape too, and it's not even been a year since we bought it!
Your regular ATM card from the US will most likely NOT work in Japan, unless it's got a Visa or Mastercard sign on it(what's usually called a check card).
Check with your bank, they will probably have ways to get funds from overseas. I know my card at the Navy Fed will be accepted in Japan. Regardless, I suggest getting cash too since many of the places we will go will not take cards (either at all or under a certain amount).
Also, if I am able to, I can try and see if I can save your files. If not, I'll donate some of my files to you and figure out what is going on with the laptop.
well, the bank person told me we just have to call in like maybe a week before I go to Japan. Then it should work.
Well I'm not worried too much about the files on the computer, I have some songs backed up on my cds. Or I can just download them again. ^_^
